The Apparition of Our Lady of Knock took place on the evening of 21st August 1879 in the small village of Knock, County Mayo, Ireland. Fifteen witnesses saw Our Lady, Saint Joseph and Saint John the Evangelist appear in a blaze of light against the gable wall of the local church. Today, Knock Shrine is one of Ireland’s most visited pilgrimage sites, welcoming over one million visitors every year.
This beautifully detailed oval medal depicts Our Lady of Knock in sterling silver finish, with her name and the sacred year 1879 embossed around the border. Worn as a pendant on a fine box chain, it is both a devotional piece and a lasting keepsake.
Whether purchased as a personal reminder of faith or as a meaningful gift for a First Communion, Confirmation, birthday or pilgrimage, this medal carries the spirit of Knock wherever it goes.
